How you select a CRM system
Hard to choose a system in the CRM jungle? Here are some tips on how to select a few of the most suitable candidates.
1. Calculate profitability
You want to know that your CRM investment has a return, right? It’s time to start calculating your ROI!
2. Make a pre-study
Analyze your business. What should be changed? Improved? How would you go about it? Document your goals, points and milestones within the project. And finally, set up a master plan for how you will reach your goal within the time schedule.
3. Organize a workshop
Mix people from different departments of your company and talk about how you all can improve the customer care and sales work. A good workshop is a mixture of brainstorming, prototype construction and discussion. As an outcome you’ll hopefully have many new things and ideas that you’ve missed in the initial study!
4. Call various CRM vendors
Now that you know your needs, the only thing remaining is to find the one CRM system that is right for you! Call various suppliers. Given that technology platforms not always differs a lot, we recommend that you do not stare yourself completely blind at the technology behind the system. How to manage your CRM system
As important as the introduction is, it is equally important to manage your CRM usage. Without input data you’ll get no output. Make sure that there is someone who manages the CRM system and keeps the usage high. If you feel that you do not really get out what you want of the system, it may be due to any of the following:
